About Naomi

I'd describe my personality as sweet, caring, and kind. I like working with kids because I enjoy their energy and I like to be a mentor and role model. I love to play with them because it reminds me of my own childhood. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to have fun with and nurture kids. I love taking kids to parks and to the pool. I like to play games and read with them, and also give them educational experiences. I started babysitting when I was 12, but I started to help my parents care for my younger brother in small ways when he was born (I was 7 at the time). In my spare time, I like to care for my animals (a fish, a snail, and a guinea pig), create art , and spend time with friends. One thing you should know about me is that I'm good with ADHD kids and kids with other special needs such as behavioral issues. My skills include an understanding of age-appropriate activities; patience, empathy and active listening. I'm responsible, dependable, and punctual.
