I recently cared for my elderly grandparents for 7 years in their home before both of them passed away at age 100 and 101. It was a rewarding experience and I'm grateful for my family. I previously worked in adult protective services while attending college (within last 10 years) and right out of high school I worked as a caregiver for the elderly in their homes doing meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, bathing. My previous career was as a social worker (5 years) and a teacher (17 years). I consider myself a patient and nurturing person.
