About Naomi

I love kids and I love to teach and help even more! I'd describe my personality as fun, reliable, and smart. I like working with kids because they have so much joy for life, and taking care of them helps me feel like I am making a difference in the world. I'm looking for a job that has open communication with parents and is goal oriented for the kids. I started working with kids when I was 14. I have 4 siblings so I am used to a little chaos. In my spare time, I like to craft and hike. It is important to be outside and stay creative! One thing you should know about me is I have a lot of experience with kids. I worked at a daycare for 5 years and then a school for 1. I enjoyed every minute of it! My skills include de-escalation and emotional regulation. I know how to help a kid calm down. I am also good at helping kids stay on a schedule, my favorite thing to hep with this is natural consequences. And of course, I know how to keep a kid clean, fed, and happy.
