About Naomi

Good morning, My name is Naomi and I've been working with children for the past five years in a variety of settings. Im active and enjoy creating age-appropriate activities for children. I started by volunteering as a tutor in high school, and later worked for the San Diego Unified School District, where I helped students from kindergarten to high school. I have experience working with students in special education. I've helped support children with different learning needs, including those with IEPs, by providing individualized support and encouragement based on their goals. I currently volunteer in an infant nursery, for babies 4 months and older. I hold two associate degrees, one in Mathematics and one in Science. I also earned two bachelor's degrees from the University of California, San Diego. One in Psychology and in Cognitive Science. I am currently pursuing my grad degree. I am CPR/ first aid certified & fingerprinted with DOJ. Letters of reference can be sent per request.
