I am a 58-year-old licensed caregiver in the state of Washington. Even though I don't have training in early childhood education, a lot of skills used in caregiving would transfer over to caring for children. For the last year and a half I have cared for a delightful woman with dementia. Sadly, my job is coming to an end June 13th, 2025. Working for her I prepared meals, did light housekeeping, assisted her with bathing, took her to appointments, grocery shopped, worked on crafts, provided companionship, etc. In general tended to her overall well being. I charge 22 dollars an hour.
