I have been working with children for over 35 years (babysitting, Sunday school teaching, etc) and ran a small day care business in my home when my own children were young. I am CPR and First Aid certified & finger-printed. I have raised 3 children and have 3 grandson's. I believe in hands-on, fun, compassionate, and responsible care-giving. I work with newborns through young teens. I like to inspire and nurture creative play, reading, crafts, and outdoor activities daily. I subscribe to the Montessori philosophy & a Method (Emergent Curriculum of child-led learning & education). I also enjoy pets in the home, preparing meals, and light housekeeping (dishes, laundry, etc). I have a dependable car equipped with a Britax 'click-tight' Carseat & a Chicco Go-Fit booster seat.
