I have 18 years of experience as a preschool teacher, the happiest work on the planet. My second career was in nursing (RN)- 37 years of experience. Five years ago, I took an early retirement from my position as school nurse for the Early Childhood Center, Cary School District 26; I did this to provide full-time care for my 90-year-old mother. who lived with me. She passed away in March at age 95. Now I have time again to work. I am available to care for one baby or Pre-K child, in my home, for up to four hours, everyday or evening. I am an energetic 74-year-old who is passionate about early childhood development and education, and I would love to babysit for one child.
