About Nancy

I am a retired nurse and now work full time as a high school biology teacher in a special needs school. In my classroom I have both a tortoise and a fish. I am also jointly responsible for our school rabbit that lives in my co-worker's room during the week. I would be coming to care for your pet after school, so I am willing to travel some distance from my home near. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and happy to do bathing and brushing if needed. I am comfortable giving medicine of any kind (including injectables such as insulin). In my personal life I currently have 6 hens, but do have as many as 30 at times. My spouse and currently have 2 dogs (one is 9 and the other is 8 months). I walk our animals 1. 5 miles daily as well as other time spent playing. I am comfortable with basic training and helping dogs learn how to walk comfortably with their owners. I do not care for snakes or lizards.
