Nancy was a attentive and overall amazing nanny to our baby, who was 4 months old when she started with us. He would break into a huge smile every time he saw her walk in through the door. She worked with him through tummy time, learning to crawl, and starting solids. She was also respectful to us as parents, was always on time, and tidied up around the house when our baby was asleep. We are very grateful. Unfortunately she left us abruptly, citing that it had become too stressful to put our son down for naps. I understand the stress part and we had commiserated about it together in day-to-day conversation. But we wish that she had more clearly communicated how big of an issue this was becoming to her so that we could have a discussion or provided some notice so that we could find alternative care. Nancy is a great nanny and any family would be lucky to have her as long as they stay can mindful about keeping an open channel of communication on both sides.
