About Nancy

After retiring from varied successful professions, I began my favorite career several years ago, tutoring and teaching. Since I began tutoring most coursework in all grades, I am also teaching Home School students successfully. I engage my students with very individualized approaches. My goals vary from building knowledge to adding more appropriately challenging lessons. Many also benefit with help in organizing, prioritizing, and breaking big projects down to smaller steps. I prefer to not just to help with this weeks homework, but to build skills and secure strong foundations to make confident, more successful happy students I have continued to work with many students for years and have been asked to continue my support as they got older, I. e. SAT Prep, college application assistance, and more. As a mom with a few degrees who has helped adults and children in academics all my life, I am proud of seeing how patience, humor and a few books can change a child's attitude and grades.
