About Nancy

I'd describe my personality as hardworking, caring, loyal and empathetic I like caring for seniors because I enjoy their company and learning about the times they lived in and the wisdom and perspective they have to offer. I also enjoy helping people who need it. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling, is close to home and provides some flexibility to be able to spend time with my own aging parents and grandchildren. I started caring for seniors 10 years ago when a neighbor told me I would be a natural fit for the job. I loved it and have loved it since. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, garden, art and crafting, puzzles, board and card games, listening to sermons and worship songs, and good conversation. One thing you should know about me is that I would love and care for your parents as I do mine, and often form friendships beyond the typical caregiver relationship. My skills include driving to appointments, conversation, and adjusting to others' preferences.
