Experience: 10 yrs
I am confident that I can nanny any children from all ages. I love to be outdoors and active. Here are some of the daily activities I do with the families: Preparing healthy and a well balanced meal appropriate with their age. Putting the younger one's to bed at earlier times, changing their clothing, making their beds or ensuring their beds are done, washing clothes, hanging and / or drying along with ironing clothes, making sure personal hygiene is maintained throughout the day, preparing everything that's needed for the one's who go to school, and most importantly, making sure everyone's happy and safe. I enjoyed outdoor activities with kids and Art and Crafts.

I didn't think it fair to leave less than 3 stars because I never witnessed Nancy's skills as a care provider. She very well might be a good childcare professional. I just don't like deception in general, and I am even less comfortable with that from someone that I would be hiring to take care of my child. I put an ad up for $20 that she applied to. Her rate on the website was listed at $25 on the website. I messaged her about last minute coverage and she agreed to take care of my son the following day. She then asked how much I pay, and I said $25. She tried to haggle for $3 more per hour and that made me uncomfortable. She then said a bunch of stuff that made no sense. She thought the job was between $20 and $30 per hour. Well in the middle of that is $25, so what's the issue? She then said no she won't take the job because she won't work for a boss who charges people less money. Huh? It wasn't the $3 per hour that was the issue. It's the fact that I considered it dishonest to apply for an ad that clearly indicated the rate, to list your rate at $25 per hour, and then to haggle for more. And the stuff she was saying made no sense either which again struck me as dishonest. I don't think it's fair to leave a one star review because like I said she might be a good childcare provider. But I'm just not comfortable working with someone who has clearly shown signs of being deceptive. And haggling like that was certainly in poor taste. I likely would have ended up paying her $28 eventually if she was up front, and did a good job with my child. It's the just the principle of it, and the fact that I'm just not comfortable working with someone who right off the bat is being deceptive.
