74-year-old active granny with a 40 year career as a pediatric and geriatric RN. I let my license lapse 10 years ago but stay busy caring for my own grandchildren. Eager to rejoin the workforce as a nanny/ childcare provider. Love to read, play, do crafts, garden, tell stories, swim and whatever you have planned. Happy, easygoing, kind. Children are my joy and priority. I'm looking for a job that centers around children. I started working with kids at age 13 years babysitting. In my spare time, I create! I sew, do crafts , garden, paint, write, read- often with my own grandchildren. I knew I was going to be a pediatric nurse at age 10 years old. Had a devotion to children. Entertainment! I'll read, sing, play games, rock, cuddle, pretend, read, do plays, play sports, whatever. Reassurance. Children been to know they are safe always. I have a calm, patient, caring demeanor that reassures children. Knowledge and experience. 40 years as an RN 20 of which were in pediatrics.
