About Nancy

I am an energetic recently retired school teacher who is looking for a part time caregiver position. I enjoy taking care of others. While I was in college I took on jobs to assist, oversee and take care of terminally sick and elderly individuals. I have also had many opportunities over the years to gain skills due to friends and family members illnesses such as cancer, stroke, surgery, and dementia. I have first hand experience with dementia, following care plans, assisting with self-care, exercise, transporting to doctor visits, treatments, and physical therapy.
