About Nancy

Hi everyone! Are any of you looking for an experienced part-time nanny? I would love to be considered to take care of your little ones. I did in-home childcare for 8 years while raising my own children. For the past 17 years I taught 2-5-year-old children at a preschool in Vienna, VA. Meanwhile I took on the role of nanny, helping a hard-working couple with their three kids, and stuck with that into their high school years. I took great joy in being a nanny, as I really loved the kids and felt that I was able to help them with the challenges they faced growing up. My education philosophy is play-based, with an emphasis on nurturing creativity, encouraging problem solving skills, and supporting social/emotional development. After caring for children for many years, I continue to maintain the joy and enthusiasm that I had when I first started.
