About Nancy

Children truly are our future and I believe they deserve every opportunity to learn in a positive, encouraging environment. I absolutely love working with children and I am still have great relationships with many of the families I've worked with in the past. I began my teaching career in a formal school environment but I have also taught in a pod and in private homes, ages ranging from preschool to grade 3. By making learning fun, the building blocks for further learning are formed. That's where I come in. I like to make learning fun - sometimes the children don't even realize they're learning a new concept! My four children are young adults now so I have a lot of experience with infants through to adulthood. Two of my children had significant special needs from reflux and a feeding tube to Asperger's, so working with children with different needs is something I'm comfortable with.
