About Nan

Hello, I'm Nan. A few years ago, I had the honor of caring for my sister-in-law's mother, full-time, for several years and then for the last months of her life. I will never forget our time together. I took her to hair appointments, the library, outdoor walks, and we always went to get lemon custard ice cream (her favorite). I find such joy sharing in the company of a senior; it is such a special stage of life. I have particular interest in fostering an individual relationship with my senior person, since I have learned this is foundational to everything else as caretaker. As a recently retired dental professional, I am fortunate to finally be seeking a role wherein I feel fulfilled in this rewarding stage of my life. Additionally, I was the director of the CCC childcare board for six years, and I truly miss working with families. I am an active, busy grandmother and I love to read. While I am initially seeking part-time, I am open to full-time for the right family
