I am retired from the medical field. I raised two children that are now grown. I saved my nephews life when I was babysitting for him as an infant. He had an allergic reaction to his formula. Because of my medical knowledge I recognized the problem sooner rather than later. I have a flexible schedule. I have had experience being educated in child care and childhood development from my education. I enjoyed staying home to raise my children. I also have a BA in Fine Arts and love to do creative projects. I prefer to care for children who are old enough to walk as I cannot do a lot of lifting from a recent back injury. Nan started watching my daughter in January 2022 while on wait-lists to get into daycare full time. My daughter is starting daycare in August so I won't need in home care, however I will still ask Nan to come back from time to time as she does such a great job. Nan his very hands on and cares for my daughter like she's her own. She's very dependable and has a big heart for children.
