About Nakisha

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in creating supportive, personalized learning environments for students ranging from elementary school to adulthood. I hold expertise in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504), allowing me to tailor my approach in Math, English, History, and Study Skills to your specific needs. I prioritize building confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment. By actively observing your learning style and maintaining open communication, I ensure our sessions remain engaging and effective. Whether we meet online, at the library, or in my home, I am dedicated to fostering a genuine love for learning. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and watching you grow into a more confident learner.
