I originally went to high school to be a certified nursing assistant. I did graduate with my license and I worked in nursing homes and hospitals since 2019. I haven't worked as a CNA in a while but I have been working as a direct support professional and a transporter at Vassar brothers where I practice those skills on a daily basis that it's like ingrained into my DNA. I really enjoy working with the elderly and making them laugh and having conversations with them. I fine the conversations to be the most best part of my job and giving them the care I feel like a lot of people don't value giving them anymore.
