About Nakayla

Hello, my name is Nakayla. I am the oldest of 4 girls. Having to help raise my younger sisters helped me develop a love and care to help others. I was born in San Diego but raised in South Florida for half my life and in North Florida for the other half. In my free time, I love to cook, travel, or just try something new. Most of the time I'll spend the day off cleaning and preparing for the following day. I have worked with children aged 2 months - 12/13 years old. I started babysitting at the age of 10 under my mom's supervision. I have been in many leadership positions dealing with children through the years. I worked at youth camps as a counselor, my church's nursery and children's director. I have experience offering tutoring as I have worked as a substitute teacher for Putnam County. I have also moved to Honduras for a year to work in a bilingual school. Working with Children is a big passion of mine, and I wish to continue to follow that path. I look forward to meeting you.
