About Najmia

Hello family my name is Najmia and I have a strong passion for working with children and helping them grow in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. I am fluent in English, Dari/Farsi, Pashto, Hindi, and Turkish. Which allows me to connect with children and families from many different backgrounds. I have several years of experience caring for children in both professional and volunteer roles. Currently I work as a childcare provider and Sunday school teacher at Tarbiya Institute in Roseville. Where I have multiple students, I plan engaging activities, supporting children's learning, creating a positive and respectful environment. In the past I've served as a teacher's assistant with Albuquerque Public Schools, supporting children who speak Dari and Pashto, as well as volunteering for the NM Asian Family Center where I provided childcare and language support for families. Families appreciate that I am responsible, patient and empathetic while also being very reliable and organized.
