About Najaylie

I am a second-year sophomore at Iona University, currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. With a strong foundation in caregiving from past experience. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and developmentally rich environments for children of all ages. My motivation to become a caregiver stems from growing up surrounded by compassionate, hardworking women, my mother and aunt, both nurses, who showed me what it means to care deeply and selflessly for others. Their example inspired me to follow a similar path rooted in empathy, patience, and service. Throughout my academic journey, I have continued to build hands-on skills through coursework, classroom observation, and child-focused volunteer work. I am committed to supporting young learners not only in their education but in their emotional and social growth as well.
