About Nadja

Hello! My name is Nadja. During the school year I work as a licensed Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. I've also taught Kindergarten-5th grade abroad in South Korea, and have coached baseball for ages 6-15. Previously I worked as a long-term nanny for a child with ADHD and ASD. I have a lot of experience working with special needs kids and I have a special place in my heart for them! Still, I have plenty of experience with kids of all sorts of abilities & strengths. I'm very active and health conscious- I run, play pickleball and quadball, and have played basketball, softball, volleyball, and baseball competitively. I also love arts and crafts and like to paint, draw, and write in my spare time. I consider myself to be pretty nerdy too so I can find common ground & interests with any kid. One thing I focus on a lot is emotional intelligence & validating kids emotions & teaching them health boundaries.
