Hello all! My name is Nadiah E. I am a 3rd year college student majoring in cognitive psychology, with a developing minor in child development. I have over 5+ years of professional nannying/babysitting/care giving. My experience in caring for children with special needs roots from my childhood. I grew up with my older brother who was born with Autism and epilepsy. I witnessed him having seizures from a young age, I learned to care for him and monitor him and am very familiar with working with children and young adults with Autism and epilepsy. All four years of high school I volunteered as a special needs teacher/aide and cared for students with special needs in my high school. I specialized in learning how to change feeding tubes, assist students with the bathroom, changing, cleaning up etc., as well as just being a friend to the students! After high school I nannied 5+ families, most recent family since COVID of march, their infant was born with autism. She is now 2!
