As a graduated nurse my calling to care for others stems from a deep-seated passion for enhancing the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. With 20 years of experience as a caregiver, I've learned to provide compassionate support through respite care, live-in assistance, and hospice services. I am also comfortable with transportation, errands, shopping, home health, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, mobility assistance, and physical activity. I hold a college degree and am adept at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. My approach is patient, calm, friendly, and empathetic. I prioritize respecting each person's independence and communicate with families through written daily reports, regular texts, phone calls, and any other preferred method.
