About Ricardia

I recently graduated nursing school in March and earned my LPN, but I have worked in healthcare for about five years. I began as a Patient Care Technician in the emergency room, where I assisted with direct patient care, monitored vital signs, performed EKGs, and supported patients in fast-paced, high-stress situations. During nursing school, I completed clinical rotations in multiple nursing homes around the Indianapolis area, where I developed a strong passion for caring for senior citizens and managing chronic conditions. I also help care for my grandmother as she manages several comorbidities while maintaining her independence, which has given me personal caregiving experience. I currently work in correctional nursing, providing structured, compassionate care. These experiences have strengthened my clinical skills, adaptability, and commitment to delivering respectful, patient-centered care.
