About Myrlene

I cared for a toddler when I first moved to California 3 years ago. I recently spent 4 months on the east coast with my 4-year-old nephew and 11 year niece and it quickly made me realize I would like to be more involved with children in my community. I'd describe my personality as passionate, positive, and professional. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I worked weekly at a church in the nursery. I cared for infants, toddlers, and kindergarteners. In my spare time, I like to hike, ride bikes and be active. My top skill in caring for children is taking the time to get to know them and understand how they communicate and function as human beings.
