About Myranda

I began working in a school setting when I was 18 as a para. I began working at an elementary school in Oswego, KS primarily with two children who have severe disabilities. From there I moved to Pittsburg, KS for a short time where I worked as a para for a child who has DS. When I moved to Lawrence, KS in 2019 I began in the service industry as well as subbing at Raintree Montessori before getting a job as a para again in Garder, KS working with several children who have low functioning autism. After working here I began at a La Petite as a 3 y/o teacher before finally landing at Raintree full time as an assistant teacher in a lower elementary classroom. This is where I currently work with children in grades 1-3. I am also a student at JCCC and take my classes online as I work towards my associates in Early Childhood Education. My hope is to move on to KU and get my BA in Speech Language Pathology before continuing on to earn my Masters in the field.
