About Myla

Hi! My name is Myla, and I am a recent graduate of Spelman College, where I graduated with highest honors and earned a degree in Comparative Women's Studies. This fall, I will begin graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania as I work toward becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife. In addition to my coursework at Spelman, I have completed public health programs through both Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and Columbia University. These experiences strengthened my skills in critical thinking, communication, research, and academic writing. As the daughter of a teacher, I have a deep appreciation for patient learning and understand that every child learns differently. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to build their confidence and develop strong study habits. I am patient, dependable, and passionate about helping students discover their strengths while making learning engaging and enjoyable.
