I like caring for seniors because it reminds me of my grandparents who taught me well and nurtured me with deep Love and molded me with respect to others. I started caring for seniors when I was 26yrs old... at first it was challenging but as you embrace your work,, it's all worth the day, and everyday is a learning,, giving you experiences and new ideas to apply for the living.. One thing you should know about me is , I am able to learn from my past mistakes and grow wiser over time, I do react under pressure and manage anxiety to avoid unhealthy coping habits... I am also Empathetic, and have the ability to listen, understand, and connect with the feelings of others. My skills includes,, paying close attention to words, verbal or non-verbal... treating elderly with kindness and honoring their personal autonomy... and therapeutic communication, to make them feel respected and valued.
