About Myka

I'd describe my personality as active, compassionate, and playful :) I like working with kids because it reminds me of my own childhood! I grew up right in the middle of a family of 10, and after moving away, I miss that place of belonging. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, and encourages the outdoors and adventure! I started working with kids when I was just 10 years old. I babysat for many people in my church (most had multiple kids - up to 8!), as well as my own younger siblings and cousins. In my spare time, I like to paint, read, crochet, and run. One thing you should know about me is I am a very hardworking individual. Going above and beyond in my work gives me great personal satisfaction! My skills include caring for those with disabilities (I had a sister with MSG, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy), teaching lessons as we go throughout the day, and a lot of patience.
