About Myka

I have been tutoring in some capacity for over 10 years. I am the oldest of four children, and my mother was a science teacher growing up, so teaching and helping others learn has always been a part of my life. I tutored classmates and family friends throughout high school and college. During the pandemic, I was responsible for the online learning needs of 12 children aged 7-17 in a variety of subjects, helping them navigate a difficult and uncertain time. I have helped several students with college applications and essays both for undergraduate and medical school. As a medical student, I have a lot of experience in the math and sciences and would love to help students apply concepts in a practical way.
