About Mycah

Hi! I'm a social work student, dad, and longtime caregiver with a genuine love for working with kids. I currently work in crisis intervention and previously spent 3. 5 years working with children and families in mental health settings. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified. Outside of my professional experience, I'm a dad to an elementary-aged kiddo myself, so I understand both the caregiver and parent side of things! I have previous nannying and babysitting experience with children of different ages, including caring for premature twins as infants as well as other babies and school-aged kids. I'm patient, dependable, calm under pressure, and comfortable meeting kids where they're at. I value creating an environment where children feel safe, respected, and able to be themselves while still maintaining the routines and boundaries that are important to their families.
