I like caring for seniors because it reminds me of helping taking care of my great grandmother when she needed it most too. When I am preparing to care for a patient I always place myself in their shoes. I could either be the patient or their family member. This reminds me to always choose kindness and give the compassion I would like to receive in return. I started caring for seniors when I was 19. I am currently in nursing school and have always had a passion for taking care of other since a child. Seniors are always so wise and I enjoy working with them. Some of my best and humbling moments come from having the opportunity to care for the elderly. I genuinely have upmost respect for my elders and want to take care of them to show my gratitude. My skills include dementia/memory care unit, rehabilitation, and certified medication administration.

Mya did a terrific job caring for an 84-yr-old stroke and Parkinson's patient. She was very caring and demonstrated excellent time management to get her work done without running over. Definitely would hire her again if the need arose. This job ended when the patient passed on peacefully.
