About Mya

Hello, my name is Mya. I've been working with kids since I was 10 or 11 years old. I first started by babysitting my cousins still do to this day. From ages 10 to 12 went to a boys and girls club/summer program and helped with the age group 4 to 7. I continue babysitting for my neighbors, cousins, family friends, and coworkers. In high school, I was in an internship to teach fIrst grade English and math. I've had three different retail Jobs; in a majority of the stores, I worked as a cashier, but I also stocked, folded clothes, and ensured that my area stayed clean. I am a high school graduate, and I'm currently a behavioral therapist for autistic children. I love working with kids because they have a unique way of thinking, and they're so intuitive and creative they give you a different point of view. The skills I have acquired over time while working with kids are patience, Critical thinking, and Communication.
