About Mya

I'd describe my personality as energetic, motivated, and confident. I like working with kids because they have a different perspective on the world. They are light and silly. They can offer joy into our lives. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and allows me to do fun activities with awesome kids. I started working with kids when I was a teenager babysitting. I now work professionally as a children's ski instructor and mountain bike coach. In my spare time, I like to do anything outdoors. I ski, bike, climb, and raft. I love to get kiddos outside with me! One thing you should know about me is I want the best for your kids. I feel strongly about raising the next generation to be kind and loving humans and I want to do what I can to contribute to that. My skills include patience, de-escalation, and enthusiasm. I want kids to have fun in a physically and emotionally safe space.
