About Myah

I am a friendly and enthusiastic older sister of 5 siblings. Caring for children is something I am passionate about. They bring joy and have a different perspective on the world. I enjoy helping them grow and learn. Growing up I felt a sense of responsibility to protect all of my younger siblings. I'm currently 20 and my youngest sister is 19 months old. I am familiar with the responsibilities and attentiveness that is necessary to take care of a newborn. Through volunteering at my church I have experience working with special needs children. I mainly spent time with 2 autistic boys (elementary school aged). And working with them taught me so much. Each child is unique and comes with their own specific needs. I had to be very patient, understanding, and able to adapt to many different situations while working in that environment. My mom also runs an in home day care center where I have assisted on several occasions familiarizing me with newborns up to elementary school aged children.
