About Mya

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator with over 2 years of senior care experience in both assisted living and hospital settings. I have worked with dementia and Alzheimer's patients, as well as cardiac stepdown and med-surg patients, providing support with daily living, mobility, vital signs, and specialized care needs. I began my career in healthcare because of my passion for helping others and find it rewarding to bring comfort and dignity to seniors each day. Families and coworkers describe me as dependable, positive, and hardworking, with a calm presence even in stressful situations. One thing families should know is that I will always treat their loved one with the same care and respect I give my own family. My top skills include direct patient care, communication, and crisis management. In my free time, I enjoy cooking for family, volunteering, hiking, interior design, and going to the gym.
