About Mya

I started babysitting for children when I was 14 in my small southern town in Maine. I babysat and taught swim lessons throughout high school until I left for school in Burlington, VT. I completed my freshman year at the University of Vermont where I studied social work, child development, and American Sign Language. I transferred to SCAD my sophomore year and graduated in 2020 with a BFA in Graphic Design. For 3 summers ('16-'19) I traveled with a family as the parents worked internationally. I was responsible for cooking, cleaning, creating schedules, and arranging activities for the 3 children in France, London, and Amsterdam. I currently work full time, fully remote for a stationery company based out of NYC. I am available for caregiving opportunities on weekends and weekday evenings.
