About Mya

Hello! My name is Mya, and I am a dedicated, compassionate and dependable caregiver with experience working with children of various ages. My experiences include 6 years of babysitting, interning with Big Brothers Big Sisters where I work with school-aged children, and coaching youth lacrosse for 4 years. I am currently studying psychology, with a particular interest in social work, mental health, and positive psychology. My studies have helped me better understand children's emotional, social, and developmental needs allowing me to provide patient and supportive care. In addition to my experience, I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I strive to prioritize safety in every situation and maintain a secure environment for the children under my care. My hope is to create a fun and engaging environment where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to learn and explore!
