About Mya

From a young age, positive experiences babysitting sparked my passion for childcare. I am the oldest child in my family and have been helping care for my cousins and siblings since I was around 10 years old. I have three years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 11. I currently work at a private christian school, in the pre-k building, taking care of 1-year-olds and assisting in other pre-k classes. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I provide daily written reports and regular updates via text or phone calls, and I always follow your preferred communication method. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
