About Mya

Hi! I'm Mya, and I've always loved working with kids. From helping care for my younger siblings growing up to building my career around children, it's something I'm truly passionate about. I've been teaching dance for the past four years, helping kids build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun. I also nannied for two years for one family, caring for their child and creating a close, trusting relationship with both the child and their parents. I've worked as a paraprofessional in schools, earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Educational Studies, and I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work. I'm patient, dependable, energetic, and care deeply about the children I work with. I love planning fun activities, being creative, and creating a safe, positive environment where kids can learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids. I'd love the opportunity to support your family!
