About Mya

Hello, my name is Mya and I am 22 years old. I am currently working towards a degree in early childhood education and am looking for part time work. I enjoy the idea of being able to positively impact children's lives. I have over two years of experience working as an assistant daycare teacher, and mainly cared for 1-3-year-olds, but am comfortable working with older children as well. I am patient, calm, creative, and imaginative. I enjoy playing board/video games, doing puzzles, and engaging in arts and crafts with children. I am also comfortable preparing meals, doing light housekeeping, and supervising swimming activities. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and discipline within certain limitations. I have my own reliable form of transportation, and am comfortable around all manner of pets. I am not currently CPR certified, but am willing to get my certification if that is something you require.
