About Mya

Hi! I'm Mya, an experienced caregiver with over 4 years working in early childhood education. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and credentialed in Toddlers & Twos and Preschool. I previously worked in corporate childcare centers and in a Reggio Emilia-inspired school environment, which helped shape my belief that children learn best through curiosity, creativity, and exploration. I practice Conscious Discipline and focus on creating a calm, respectful environment where children feel safe, understood, and supported as they grow. Families describe me as patient, attentive, and very understanding. I love incorporating music, movement, and creative play into my time with kids and enjoy planning fun, engaging activities. I'm passionate about building strong connections with children and supporting their development in a nurturing and positive way. I hope to connect with your families!
