About Muriel

am a wife and mother of 2 children who has lived in the tri-cities for 27 years. I have worked as an outdoor education and science teacher for 10 years at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, IL. During this time period I have helped many students from preschool to High School learn about the outdoor World of nature and the mysteries of the science in our Universe. I have always taught with passion, enthusiasm and additional understanding for students with special needs. I have improved fluency and comprehension for students including those with special needs, such as autism and behavioral issues. Cultivating a love of learning is what I strive for. My caring, patient and kind disposition has given me the privilege and happiness of teaching. References available upon request.
