When I first started doing senior care, it was with my grandmother and some friend's grandparents, I really enjoyed doing it and when my grandmother died and some friends moved away, I decided to go ahead and get my CNA certification so I can do what I love. For me, taking care of the elderly is more than just a job for me, it's a chance to help someone who is need and is unable do it for themselves. I always enjoy seeing the appreciation in their face once I have helped someone with a a bath, a meal or helped them go to the bathroom, the way a resident looks at you and says thank you is just priceless.
