About Muna

Empowering students to reach their full potential by building confidence through practice and practice questions is the core of my teaching practice. With seven years of experience as a Certified teacher, and ICT teaching (working with Scholars with IEPs and MLLs) I specialize in Math, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for students ranging from elementary school to college. By adapting differentiation methods-whether through visual aids or hands-on problem solving-I was able to help my last set of Scholars achieve an 80% pass rate on the Algebra 1 Regents. We navigate complex concepts by breaking down problems and coming up with the steps. I also prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure a collaborative environment. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing a student's "aha!" moment as they master a new skill.
