Over the last decade, I have worked as an outdoor educator, wilderness therapy field guide, adventure teacher, camp counselor, school yoga teacher, nanny and household manager. My approach is gentle, child-led and informed by a in-depth understanding of attachment. I would be thrilled to support a family who share similar values in creating playful, active and engaging days for their little ones. My ideal match would also welcome my son (2) to join at least part-time; he has joined me for my most recent nanny and teaching positions, and he has loved the opportunity for connection and play. Morgan was and remains such an important person in my children's life. She cared for my kids from infancy to toddler hood. She provided safe, fun, loving care for them. She had creative ways to engage with them: cooking, art, walks, and going to the park. She has a great sense of what is age appropriate and knows how to speak to children with clarity and respect. She was on time and always flexible with my schedule. She followed their daily nap schedule and meal times. I always felt good with my kids in her care. She was easy to talk and laugh with. My kids still ask about her and we send birthday messages and holiday greetings to each other. Any family looking for a childcare provider would be lucky to have her!
