As a child in seventh grade I volunteered in a disabled class after school. Also when my mother moved in with another family I had became an instant caregiver to a young boy named age 4 years old. As a Junior in high school I volunteered at a week long camp and was able to be friend and help along a fifth grade girl with special needs not only be comfortable staying all week but actually had the "Time of her life and was the first time she had ever left her parents for more than a night," her teacher told me after the week was over.
